Getting Started with SPARC
Learn the basics of SPARC and set up your first display in minutes.
Welcome to SPARC
SPARC (Synchronised Player And Realtime Controller) is a next-generation experience management platform designed for modern display networks. Whether you're managing a single screen or thousands of displays across multiple locations, SPARC provides the tools you need to create stunning, synchronised visual experiences.
Key Concepts
Before diving in, familiarize yourself with these core concepts:
Players
SPARC offers two player types: the Web Player runs in any modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) for quick deployment, while the NUC Player is a native application for Intel NUC or similar mini PCs providing hardware-accelerated playback and extended offline caching for 24/7 installations.
Zones
Zones are logical groupings of players. You might organize by location (Store A, Store B), by function (Lobby Displays, Experience Displays), or any other scheme that fits your needs.
Content
Content includes images, videos, web pages, and data feeds that you display on your players. SPARC supports a wide range of media formats and can synchronise playback across multiple displays.
