Open Chrome, go to player.mysparc.app, enter a pairing code in your dashboard. Done. No app to install, no configuration, no waiting — any device with a browser is a SPARC screen.
Recommended
Best performance and widest feature support. Use Chrome for video walls and sync.
Fully supported
Built on Chromium — nearly identical to Chrome. Good choice for Windows environments.
Supported
Supported for standard content. Some advanced features (video wall sync) are optimised for Chromium.
Limited
Works for basic content on macOS/iPadOS. Not recommended for production deployments.
Chrome OS devices are purpose-built for this — Chromebox for commercial, Chromebit for hidden installs. But any existing computer works too.
$300–$600 AUD
Chrome OS desktop devices designed for commercial always-on use. Managed via Google Admin Console. Ideal for locked-down kiosk deployments.
$150–$250 AUD
HDMI stick running Chrome OS. Plug directly into a display's HDMI port. Limited availability but extremely compact for hidden installations.
Existing hardware
If you have a laptop or desktop PC connected to a screen and running Chrome, you already have a SPARC player. Open Chrome, navigate to player.mysparc.app, go full screen.
Under 2 minutes from browser open to live content.
Use any Chromium-based browser (Chrome 90+, Edge 90+) or Firefox 88+ on the device connected to your display. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Type player.mysparc.app into the address bar. The SPARC Player web app loads and displays a 6-character pairing code on screen. No download or installation required.
Press F11 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+F (macOS) to enter full screen mode. This hides the browser chrome and address bar so the display shows only your SPARC content.
In mysparc.app, go to Screens > Add Screen and enter the 6-character pairing code. The screen activates within 30 seconds and is ready to receive content.
For production deployments, lock the device to the SPARC player so it survives reboots and prevents accidental interaction.
Use Google Admin Console to set the device to Managed Kiosk mode. Add player.mysparc.app as the kiosk app URL. The device boots directly into SPARC with no way to exit — ideal for public-facing deployments.
Create a shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk https://player.mysparc.app --start-fullscreen. Add it to Windows startup via Task Scheduler. Use Windows Kiosk mode to restrict access.
Use Guided Access (in Accessibility settings) to lock Safari or Chrome to player.mysparc.app. Or use a third-party kiosk tool like Kiosk Pro or SureLock for macOS.
